The Monopolar Radio Frequency lifting device 10THERMA, which improves skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles, is officially entering the Indian market. Tentech (CEO Han Dong Ok) announced that they signed an exclusive distributor contract worth approximately $6 million USD with the huge Indian medical distributor 'Spectra Medicals' on the 27th of September. Under this agreement, Spectra Medicals, with branches located in Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Hyderabad, will distribute 10THERMA throughout India. Spectra Medicals is a huge distributor company focusing on the distribution of beauty and medical equipment in the Indian market, and representing global laser and aesthetic equipment manufacturers. They aim to exceed the record of 800 units sold of 10THERMA, the cumulative sales in the South Korean market, within the next two years through this contract. A Tentech representative explained, "This goes beyond mere distribution expansion; it is a strategic goal aimed at enhancing the brand status of 10THERMA in India, reflecting our commitment to achieving remarkable results in the Indian market based on our success in the Korean market." He added, "In particular, the 10THERMA products are set to be distributed through major chain clinics in India, such as △Kaya, △Skin Lab, △VLCC, and we expect this to drive sales growth in the Indian market." 10THERMA is a Monopolar Radio frequency (RF) lifting device that delivers 6.78 MHz of radio frequency energy deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production. It concentrates radio frequency heat in the dermis layer, enhancing elasticity and effectively improving deep wrinkles, including those on the forehead, around the eyes, and nasolabial folds. According to Tentech, 10THERMA consists of a total of four types of tips designed for various treatment purposes: △an eye tip (0.25 cm²), △ two types of face tips (4 cm² and 5 cm²), and △ a body tip (20 cm²). Additionally, the 5 cm² face tip delivers energy over a 25% larger area compared to the existing 4 cm² tip, which can reduce treatment time. The impedance matching system analyzes individual skin resistance values and allows real-time monitoring of the amount of energy delivered with each shot, based on the person’s specific resistance. Additionally, by applying the S.T.C (Smart Temperature Cooling) mechanism system, a total of seven cooling pulses are emitted during each shot, which helps reduce pain during treatment and significantly alleviates the risk of burns and pain caused by thermal energy. 10THERMA has received recognition for this technology and obtained FDA certification in the United States. Han Dong Ok, the CEO of Tentech, stated, "We are very pleased to officially enter the Indian market through this contract," adding, "We will closely collaborate with Spectra Medicals and major clinics in India to provide the lifting effects of 10THERMA to our customers." |
