Title | Tentech's RF medical device '10THERMA' surpasses cumulative sales of 800 units | ||
According to Tentech, a company specializing in skin care medical devices, 10THERMA has surpassed cumulative sales of 800 units. 10THERMA is a monopolar radiofrequency medical device, which transmits radiofrequency energy to generate heat through the skin's electrical resistance. It can deliver up to 400W of power and uses a single electrode to transmit radiofrequency heat over a wide area of the dermis, allowing for new coagulation of skin tissue. The company explains that its 5 cm² tip covers a larger treatment area than the previous 4 cm² tip, enabling 25% more energy delivery for faster treatments. A representative from Tentech stated that “10THERMA features Impedance Matching technology, allowing it to adjust the energy output based on individual skin resistance, ensuring consistent radiofrequency energy delivery." The Smart Temperature Cooling (S.T.C) system cools the skin's surface during treatment with a total of seven cooling pulses to prevent burns. Furthermore, the company has received numerous demo requests from dermatologists in Taiwan. They shipped their first export to the U.S. in August and anticipate exceeding 1,000 cumulative sales in the first half of next year. Tentech foresees 10THERMA to quickly gain recognition in the global market. CEO Han Dong-ok remarked, "As exports to the U.S. and other countries begin in earnest, we expect our global sales to accelerate. We will develop marketing strategies aligned with market trends in various countries to solidify our global brand presence." Photo of 10THERMA.
