Title Tentech inc. acquires a domestic license for monophasic fillers

Tentech inc. announced that it has acquired and launched domestic licenses for monophasic fillers, 'Tone Up Fill', 'Rhino Fill' and 'Fine Fill'.

Most of the existing filler products use BDDE (1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether) as a crosslinking agent. Fillers using BDDE have the potential to cause delayed immune response due to pendant phenomenon. Pendant phenomenon is a phenomenon in which the crosslinking agent is bound to only one side of hyaluronic acid like a jewel on a necklace.

Tentech's filler products use DVS (divinyl sulfone) as a crosslinking agent, and if DVS is used as a crosslinking agent, the manufacturing method is much more complicated, but delayed immune reaction due to pendant phenomenon can be reduced.

‘Tone Up Fill’ launched by Tentech is a filler suitable for the cheekbones, nasolabial folds, forehead, temple, and chin, ‘Lino Peel’ for the nose, and ‘Pine Peel’ for fine lines, and under the eyes.

A Tentech official said, "European approval for Tone Up Fill, Rhino Fill, and Fine Filll is expected to come out around March." This is a lot of work and takes a long time, but once the permit is obtained, a lot of sales are expected,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tentech is preparing to be listed on the KOSDAQ next year thanks to the domestic sales of the second-generation 10 Thera, the second-generation HIFU equipment, and the increase in overseas exports. In addition, Ten Therma, a premium high-frequency equipment, has been developed and is expected to increase significantly when Ten Therma is released at the end of this year.
