Expanding Global Network at Japan’s First AFAS Event

On December 9th, medical device manufacturer, Tentech, announced its participation in ‘AFAS Japan 2024’, which was held in Tokyo, showcasing its aesthetic medical devices and targeting the local market.

The event took place on December 8th at Bellesalle Shinjuku Central Park in Shinjuku, Japan, and concluded successfully with significant interest from beauty and medical professionals across Japan and Asia.

AFAS (Aesthetic Forum and Academy of Surgery) is an international academic forum founded in 2013 by the Korean Academy of Aesthetic Surgery (KAAS), where experts from 16 countries share knowledge on aesthetic surgery and medicine. As the first AFAS event held in Japan, experts from both Korea and Japan engaged in in-depth discussions through lectures and debates.

Tentech presented its aesthetic medical devices such as 10THERMA, 10THERA, and 10PL at the event. They also provided their Regevan C cream as a novelty to booth visitors, receiving a positive response.

The event provided an opportunity for attendees to witness Tentech's unique lifting technology, showcasing the advanced safety and effectiveness of their products. It left a strong impression on Japanese medical professionals and beauty experts, further increasing the brand's recognition.


One of the key sessions of the event featured Dr. Byun Hyun Seob from BB Clinic Ginza in Japan. Dr. Byun delivered a lecture on ‘Lifting from shallow to deep layers of the skin using the latest HIFU and Radiofrequency’ and presented clinical cases of 10THERA and 10THERMA to an audience of around 100. He discussed the strengths of using these devices for lifting solutions, effectively conveying their clinical excellence and attracting significant interest from Japanese medical professionals.
